Medusa Undone will receive its third fully staged production at the brand new Otherworld Theatre in Chicago, directed by artistic director, Tiffany Keane Schaffer. The play will run in rep with Elizabeth Ann Michaela Keel's Corona from April 12-May 18. Ticket information is forthcoming.

My new play, The Mighty Maisie, will have a development reading in The Bechdel Group's 2019 reading series on Feb 25th, 2019. I'm really excited to start developing this new play!

This February, my short play Absolutely Unbelievable! will be a part of the Buffalo Quickies Short Play festival.
The play has previously been produced in New York at the 2015 Secret Theatre Annual One Act Festival, and MadLab Theatre in Columbia Ohio.
Buffalo Quickies at the Alleyway Theatre (Buffalo) opens on Febraury 23rd and plays through March 11th on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30.
My play Speed of Light has been chosen for the "Pancakes and Playwrights" Program at The Wheelhouse Theater in Chicago!
I don't yet have any further details, but the reading will likely happen this winter. Very excited to share Speed of Light with a Chicago crowd!

I am so pleased to announce that my play The Aurora Project has been chosen as one of the four plays at this year's WNY Roving Reading Series, presented by The Dramatist Guild.
The Aurora Project was produced at The Science Fiction Theater Company in 2013 and at Otherworld Theater in 2014. The Roving Reading Series specifically targets plays that have had one or two productions, and offer them more exposure.
I am very excited to be working with The Dramatist Guild and Kitchen Theater in Ithaca on this exciting project.

My play Speed of Light will be happening at Road Less Traveled productions this coming fall.
Road Less Traveled is the only Buffalo based theater company whose mission is to produce new plays by local Buffalo writers.
Speed of Light will open RLPT's 2015-2016 season at Curtain-Up Buffalo and run from September 11th to the end of the month.
I'm looking forward to being involved with this production, and eager to see how the Buffalo community receives sci-fi on stage!

The Reading will be on August 30th at 7:00pm at the Off the Wall Theater in Carnegie, PA.
Established in 1991, the Pittsburgh New Works Festival is the Pittsburgh Region's original and longest-running new play festival.
My short play The Offer has been selected as part of the 40th Annual Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival.
The Offer will be presented on August 7th in the first grouping of plays at 6:30pm at the East 13th Street Theater (Classic Stage Company)

The Kilroys List includes the results of the second annual industry survey of excellent new plays by female and trans* playwrights. It is a tool for producers committed to ending the systemic underrepresentation of female and trans* playwrights in the American theater.
My play Fat Actress/Ugly Model: And Other Destructive Labels for Women has been chosen as a finalist for the Woodward/Newman Drama Award at the Bloomington Playwright Project. Thanks to everyone there for the honor!

I am so excited to announce that my play, "Medusa Undone", which was developed at the Iowa Playwrights' Workshop in 2012 is one of the 5 winning plays at the 8th Annual Festival of New Plays at Panndora Productions in Long Beach, CA!

As of August 11th, I am a full time teaching artist at Syracuse Stage.
Syracuse Stage is one of the only regional theaters in New York State outside of the New York City metropolitan area, and I am absolutely thrilled to be a part of their new teaching artist team!
For this upcoming school year, I will be working on the Franklin Project. Five teaching artists will be sent to Franklin Elementary School in the Syracuse City School District to bring theater and art into the lives of the students each and every day. Each teaching artist will be focusing on a different art form. Mine will be language, creative writing, and the voice. I am excited to get started!
